A playground with a bar...not a bad idea 🍻
Scroll down for a roundup of the parenting content from the week, guaranteed to make you smile, if not laugh out loud. And the odd helpful tip.
Happy Saturday Dads!
If there was a “Holy Grail” for parents, what would it be?
A baby that falls asleep by itself, perhaps. Or maybe a tool that tells you what your baby is thinking.
Parents in the Netherlands have found a more realistic contender; that’s right, it’s the playground cocktail bar.
Imagine lounging in a beer garden, guzzling your 3rd Aperol Spritz whilst you watch your kids happily messing around on the monkey bars.
It’d certainly be an improvement on scrolling your phone to death as you sit next to an overflowing bin smelling of fox pee!

“I keep hearing that it takes a village to raise a child.
Do they just show up, or is there a number to call? I think they’re having trouble finding me…”

Upcoming dates that it might be worth having up your sleeve:
Earth Day | Mon 22nd Apr; This year’s theme is Planet vs. Plastics and so perhaps a good opportunity to talk about your recycling bin and what goes into it.
St George’s Day | Tue 23rd Apr; You probably don’t need an excuse to talk about dragons with your toddler, but if you did, then this would be it.
That’s it for this week folks.
Thanks again for reading, as always we leave you with one HILARIOUS joke to share with the family.
Sylvester Stallone said he wants to make a movie about classical music.
He says; “I’ll be Beethoven.”
Jean Claude Van Damme says; “I’ll be Mozart.”
Arnold Schwarzenegger says; “I’ll be Bach.”
