Reminder: Mother's Day is Tomorrow!
Scroll down for a roundup of the hilarious parenting content from the week, guaranteed to make you smile, if not laugh out loud. And the odd helpful tip.
Happy Saturday Dads!
We’re going to start off this week with an admission of guilt.
Unfortunately, contrary to popular opinion, the makers of For Dads are not the picture of parenting perfection. And on this occasion, we happen to be very firmly sitting in the dog house.
Had we not decided to launch a public newsletter proclaiming to be the saviour of forgetful dads everywhere, then we’d probably be forgiven the occasional missed Mother’s Day…but alas, not this year.
It turns out, an invitation to Twickenham this weekend was just too appealing to turn down! 😬
We hope you all have a more successful Mother’s Day!

As always, if you enjoyed this week’s edition and think you might know someone else who would, please do share. We know how tough being a parent can be, and sometimes you just need a moment to laugh at some of the craziness.
Thanks for reading, and enjoy that beer when it finally comes.

🔢 It’s all in the numbers
Do you have a favourite child? Go on, you can tell us. We promise we won’t tell.
“Absolutely not!” You’re thinking. Well, it turns out 70% of dads in the UK do show signs of favouritism to one of their children over the others. Though, unsurprisingly, when surveyed directly only 10% actually admitted to this openly.
And interestingly, whilst 4 out of 5 of us have grown up believing our sibling receives preferential treatment, most people incorrectly guess at who the favourite child is in their family.
Do you have a sibling? If so, who do you reckon your parents prefer?

⭐ How the stars do it
Bradley Cooper recently opened up about his experience bonding with his daughter.
“The first eight months - I don’t even know if I really love the kid.”
“And then all of a sudden, it’s like no question.”

Upcoming dates that it might be worth having up your sleeve:
Mother’s Day | tomorrow! It’s likely too late to be planning some enormous grand gesture if you’ve only just clocked this. But don’t worry, it turns out some mums only need one thing to keep them happy…sleep!
Avoid our mistake of being away on Mother’s Day morning and give your missus a-lie. (Meanwhile, we’ll be desperately Googling the best flower shops to stop in at on the route home from London…)

That’s it for this week folks.
Thanks again for reading, as always we leave you with one HILARIOUS joke to share with the family.
Did you hear about that restaurant on the moon?
Great food; no atmosphere.
