I’m always baffled by how excited my toddler is to get out of bed every morning until I remember he’s going to spend the day playing, napping and being waited on. I’d be excited too.

🎾 Activity of the week
With Christmas now over, we’d be surprised if you didn’t now have a surplus of cardboard boxes littering your home. Here’s a pretty fun up-cycling idea to entertain your kids, after all, who needs presents when the box itself will do.

🍽️ Recipe of the week
Recipe: BROCCOLI EGG BITES
🥚 3x eggs
🧀 a handful of cheese
🫛 boiled peas
🥦 chopped broccoli
🥓 chopped ham
Instructions:
Whisk your eggs and cheese together before adding the peas and ham. Grease your muffin tray and spoon in your mixture before baking for 25 mins at 180 degrees.

Nappy changing a toddler who can walk is a different ball game, more akin to cattle-wrangling.
For the hoarders among you with the baby play mat still cluttering a spare bedroom, now’s the time to deliver the “I told you so” line to your partner.
