Why can't you hear a pterodactyl go to the loo?
Scroll down for the punchline. A roundup of the hilarious parenting content from the week, guaranteed to make you smile, if not laugh out loud. Plus the odd helpful tips.
Happy Saturday Dads!
We’ve been tackling some pretty existential topics with our toddler this morning, such as: Why does the sun come up? Why can’t babies talk? And our personal favourite, Why do boys have willies?
Anyway, it got us thinking about a few “would you rather?” questions to challenge you with.
Would you rather… step on a pile of lego barefoot every morning for a week, OR watch Peppa Pig on repeat for 24 hours?
Would you rather… your toddler announce to the restaurant that “Daddy did a poo!” OR have to deal with your baby’s poonami with only 2 baby wipes?
Would you rather… carry your toddler for 3 miles, OR sit around and wait for them as they take 3 hours to walk it themselves?
Coming up this week…
A surcharge for noisy kids? You’ve got to be kidding me…

Which Hogwarts house would Andy Murray be in?
As always, if you enjoyed this week’s edition and think you might know someone else who would, please do share. We know how tough being a parent can be, and sometimes you just need a moment to laugh at some of the craziness.

🔢 It’s all in the numbers
Ever felt a little guilty taking your kids to a reasonably nice restaurant because you know the noise and devastation you’ll leave in your wake?
Back in 2022 a story surfaced about a restaurant owner in Singapore informing customers that a surcharge would now be incorporated as a penalty for any ‘additional’ noise created by customers with children.
Well, it got us and clearly the internet thinking about whether this was a policy that people in the UK would be supportive of.
And evidently, whilst the concept has yet to be introduced here, the news would not be good if voted on by the British public. No less than 47% agreed with the restaurant’s policy in a Yougov survey, with 21% strongly supporting the concept.
As if dragging your kids out to Pizza Express, and spending a fortune on food that will mostly go uneaten wasn’t expensive enough!
⚒️ Try this at home

⭐ How the stars do it
Who knew Andy Murray was a Potterhead?
Finding the silver linings in everything, he recently ended up playing dress up with his daughters at 5am after losing in the first round of the Australian Open.
Fun fact: A YouGov poll put the tennis star at 29% likely to be in Gryffindor.
You can find Andy’s Instagram post here.
Upcoming dates that it might be worth having up your sleeve:

That’s it for this week folks.
